The Initiative for a Competitive Inner City (ICIC) is a national not-for-profit organization founded in 1994 by Harvard Business School Professor Michael Porter to promote economic development in America’s inner cities through private sector engagement that leads to job, income, and wealth creation for local residents. ICIC brings together business and civic leaders to drive innovation and action, transform thinking, and accelerate inner city business growth. ICIC’s research highlights the competitive advantages of inner cities and informs its advisory practice and urban business initiatives. ICIC is a national partner on Santander Bank’s Cultivate Small Business and Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses program, managing and advising on outreach, application, and selection processes across all program locations. The Analyst will support both programs with approximately 80% of their time dedicated to supporting the Cultivate Small Business program and 20% supporting the 10,000 Small Businesses team, as further detailed below.
The Analyst will provide programmatic support to the Cultivate Small Business and the 10,000 Small Businesses teams, including database management, analysis of recruitment success metrics, and application processing. In addition, the Analyst will identify creative methods for optimizing and implementing processes within programmatic guidelines. The Analyst will work closely with the entire team to support projects and deliverables and assist with local program sites.
The Analyst will support the execution of application and selection processes in partnership with program teams at six (6) program locations across the country for the Cultivate Small Business program and provide general programmatic support to the ICIC 10,000 Small Businesses team as needed.
